Lord, send me to the surfable nations that hate you.
I think that Indonesia may in fact be the greatest place in the world.
Being on the boat for seven days was like living in a dream. I am
pretty convinced that I am going to live here oneday.
It was definitely intense visiting the Muslim islands. On Gili we had
the head Moola come over a loudspeaker and order the people to tear up
the tracts and Bibles we were giving out. However, we met a man who had
been given a Bible and some clothes by Surfing the Nations four years
ago. This man starting reading the Bible and realized that it was
truth. He now has 15-20 people coming to his home at night to read the
Bible secretly. I am sure for every story like this we hear there are
many more that go unheard. Praise God.
Obviously, I am alive. The tsunami that hit western Java was about 100
miles away from where I am right now on Bali. Regretably, I will not be
able to go help with the relief as my visa expires in four days.
I think that as you are reading this God is calling you to go to a Muslim nation.
